Hey Reader,

Do you know how many people have a Leap Day birthday? I mean- it is the most unique birthday you can have! πŸ™ƒ

Sometimes it is the little things that get their attention- right?

And let me tell you- I am a huge, HUGE math nerd.... but if there is one.. just one thing I do NOT enjoy teaching.. it's surface area. I can't really tell you why- it is just not my fav. So, I have to spice things up a bit for my own sanity!

So I made a Leap Day activity for surface area....

True Story: I was making the answer key as kids were packing up for dismissal and they said WHEN ARE WE DOING THE FROG ONE!?

🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸

Truly my kids are obsessed with these facts & stats sheets. Makes my heart happy. πŸ’š

I also made an editable template for this activity- you're welcome!!

Students learn facts like this as they solve math probs:

-How many people have a Leap Day birthday?

-In what country is getting married in a Leap Year bad luck?

-Who created Leap Day/Leap Year?

Don't forget if you purchased the growing bundle, you can go download for free!

Here are some upcoming activities in the bundle you can use too!

Pi Day Facts & Stats

St. Patricks' Day Facts and Stats

Easter/Spring Candy Facts and Stats

My TPT + business operations are my side hustles. But here's the thing- my side hustles bring in way more than my teaching salary- and that's with a...

Reader Guess what- my 7th grade spiral math homework is published! ✏️✏️✏️✏️✏️✏️✏️✏️✏️✏️✏️✏️✏️✏️✏️✏️ It's for the teacher who- Doesn't want the homework to be too easy, or too hard, but just right. I don't want kids to struggle too much- some don't have help at home. But I want it to be meaningful! Doesn't want homework to be overwhelming, but wants to provide that basic skills practice. I really don't want to stress anyone out- but I have found a lot of my families at my new school happen to...
